1. ***Dẫn đề:***

Trong lịch sử quan hệ bang giao Việt Nhật, vào thời kỳ *Châu Ấn thuyền* (*Shuinshen*, 1592-1635), bên cạnh sự thúc đẩy thông thương trao đổi, giao thiệp khăng khít giữa Đại Việt với Nhật Bản, có một sự kiện khá đặc biệt đã góp thêm phần thiết chặt mối thâm tình khăng khít của đất nước Mặt Trời Mọc với Đàng Trong đó là việc giới chức Nam Hà ban quốc tính (họ Nguyễn) cho hào thương Araki Sotaro là *Nguyễn Thái Lương* 阮太良. Sau đó, hào thương này được kết duyên cùng một công nữ trong gia tộc chúa Nguyễn.

Tiếc rằng, về phía Việt Nam, các cứ liệu gốc của Nội cung triều Chúa Nguyễn về lịch sử xã hội, con người… ở Nam Hà từ 1558 đến 1775 gần như không còn; nhất là nguồn văn bản gốc của các bức quốc thư bang giao giữa Đàng Trong – Nhật Bản các thế kỷ XVI-XVII….
